Description of the area:

The Galapagos Islands are in the Galapagos Province of Ecuador, 1,000 km (612 miles) offshore. They are a group of spectacular volcanic islands, with extraordinary wildlife. This is the world’s most impressive national park.

The main tourist attractions in the Galapagos are:

  • Giant tortoises, marine and terrestrial iguanas, Darwin’s finches, red-footed and blue-footed boobies, albatrosses, cormorants, frigate birds, penguins, flamingos, sea lions, dolphins, and whales.

  • Seven different vegetation zones, which make the islands notably different from one another.

  • The giant tortoise and land iguana rearing center.

  • Turtle Bay – one of the most beautiful beaches of the Galapagos.

  • The giant tortoise natural reserve in the Santa Rosa sector of Salasaca, El Chato, where you can watch free-living tortoises.

  • Media Luna and Cerro Broker.

  • The lava tunnels.
  • Our offices are on Isla Santa Cruz in the city of Puerto Ayora, which is the economic capital of the Galapagos Islands with more than 10,000 inhabitants.

    Available activities:

    Adventure, sports
    Bird watching
    Eco/nature/wildlife
    Scuba/snorkeling
    Tours
    Visits to conservation projects
    Walking/hiking

    How to get there:

    Nearest international airport:

  • City of Guayaquil: Aeropuerto Simón Bolivar.

  • City of Quito: Aeropuerto Mariscal Sucre.
  • Nearest local / national airport: Baltra Airport

We are 1.5 hours from the airport in Baltra; travel is over the Canal de Itabaca that links the island of Baltra with the island of Santa Cruz. A truck or a bus is needed for the trip.

The islands can be visited year-round.

    Making a difference:

We work with the community, consume local products, and hire local labor (100% permanent residents).

We make product delivery agreements in accord with production seasons (agricultural, poultry, livestock) – we work directly with the suppliers.

We also contribute to education and sports projects.

    General rates:

Rate information can be requested by e-mail. Our rates do not vary by high or low seasons.

Our cruise has lodging in double cabins and the price includes all meals on-board, snacks, juices, tea, water, and excursions to the islands with a Naturalist Guide authorized by the Galapagos National Park.

Air fare, entrance fees to Galapagos National Park, snorkeling equipment, alcoholic beverages and sodas are not included in the rates.
