Making a difference:

At Mayan Resorts we work hard to exceed our guests’ expectations, with high quality services and facilities oriented to an ecological sustainable tourism industry.

Our organization contributes to the local ecosystem, our local community and to our society by following our environmental policy:

  • Our performance is regulated by environmental and local government norms.

  • We operate our own water treatment plant for our 3 hotels and Jarretaderas County. The treated water is used in our golf course and gardens.

  • Our artificial lakes and green areas nest a wide variety of wildlife and are well taken care of by our staff in order to preserve their habitat.

  • We strive to promote a culture of energy saving and re-usage and recycling of wastes.

  • All the chemicals that we use for cleaning purposes are biodegradable.

  • We give constant maintenance to our vehicles and equipment.

  • We implement energy saving programs (gasoline, diesel, water, electricity and butane gas).

  • We create new jobs, train our staff and recognize their efforts

  • We participate in charitable activities and help remedial educational programmes through the Delia Morán Corporation

  • We transmit the culture of sustainable practices to our workers, guests, business partners and our society by making them part of our activities.
