Description of the area:
Morgan's Rock is an ecological hotel located on a private 4,446-acre farm where we offer tours for reforestation, horseback rides, kayaking, excursions in our boats, and more.
Ours is a luxury hotel where the client can enjoy very high standards and a staff that is very willing to provide very friendly service; we do not have television, air-conditioning, Internet, telephones or room service. It is a very attractive place for clients that want to take a break from the day-to-day routine.
We are only 2 hours from the historic city of Granada, which was founded in 1524. This city has many activities that clients can enjoy after resting with us for a few days.
Nicaragua is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination due to its natural beauty and scant infrastructure, mountains, volcanoes, and historic cities; this country is undergoing an international tourism boom and more and more foreigners are interested in seeing it.

How to get there:
Morgan's Rock is 3 hours from Managua International Airport and most of the route is highway in good condition; but the last few kilometers of road before reaching the hotel are gravel and clients are advised to use four-wheel drive vehicles.

Morgan's Rock is more than a beautiful hotel; it is a comprehensive project for nature conservation, community development, and reforestation, offering eco- and agro-tourism.
Morgan's Rock is located on a 4,446-acre farm of which 1,976 acres are conserved primary forest and the remaining 2,470 acres have been planted with 1.5 million timber and fruit trees in order to recreate a natural habitat for many species that were endangered.
All staff members are Nicaraguans and the hotel has trained them about the importance of serving the client and protecting our natural resources.
