Description of the area:

We are in the capital city of San José, across from the La Sabana Metropolitan Park. We have access to the main highways, business districts, city center, shopping centers, and tourist attractions such as Poás Volcano National Park, Irazú Volcano National Park, and Braulio Carrillo National Park, all within an hour of the hotel.

We are a small hotel interested in providing personalized customer service.

Available activities:

Adventure, sports
Tours
Walking/hiking

How to get there:

We are only 8 miles from the Juan Santamaría International Airport and 3 miles from the local Tobías Bolaños Airport.

Making a difference:

  • We are the only “green” hotel in the capital city; we were given a designation of 4 leaves out of a maximum of 5 awarded for Sustainable Tourism Certification of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute.

  • We make purchases in “bulk” and favor reusable or recyclable containers.

  • We support a local shelter for abused women and their children.

  • We provide our clients with information on local attractions, ways of protecting the environment, and how to participate in these activities.

  • We use biodegradable products for all cleaning and in the amenities that we place in the rooms.

  • Most of our staff persons are local and training sessions are continually offered for their professional and personal development.
  • General rates:

    $$$$ -- from $100 to $150
