Description of the area:
The Quijos valley is between the Andes and Ecuador’s Amazon region. We are in the community of San Francisco de Borja in Napo province. We are surrounded by three national parks and six life zones that range from the Andes mountains to tropical forests. The zone has high biodiversity, volcanoes, countless waterfalls and natural settings that are ideal for adventure sports and ecotourism.
Our destination is new and different. Come enjoy it with us and we will show you how ecotourism is the road to the development and conservation of this beautiful place.
Available activities:
Adventure, sports
Biking
Bird watching
Canopy exploration
Eco / nature / wildlife

How to get there:
We are 110 km (68 miles) east of the city of Quito, only 2 hours from the capital, on a very good paved highway. Campiña del Quijos operates year-round. The best time to visit is the dry season, from October to April.
Making a difference:
We promote ecotourism in the Quijos valley as an economic alternative that helps reduce pressure on the area’s three national parks.
We provide information about the ecological value of the region.
We hire local personnel only and we support local groups in becoming tour service providers.
