Description of the area:

We are a mountain lodge located in San Isidro de Dota, in Costa Rica, designed as a place to rest in the midst of a rural environment. When you visit Rancho Tinamú, you’ll feel like member of the Parra family, who provide a friendly and authentic welcome.

Here, you can enjoy marvelous views of the surrounding hills, such as Cerro de la Muerte, which is truly a place for physical and mental relaxation. You can take short hikes on the area’s trails, where you’ll enjoy the fresh waters of nearby streams and various waterfalls, or cascades, which are surrounded by exuberant vegetation of a great biological diversity; and you can enjoy all of this in the company of experienced guides.

You can also participate in routine activities on the farm, such as milking cows, working in the vegetable garden, or tree nursery, etc.

Available activities:

Bird watching
Eco / nature / wildlife
Mountain climbing
